To help answer your questions and provide clarity, we’ve compiled a list of frequently asked questions about real estate photography. From equipment and turnaround time, to pricing and virtual tours, this comprehensive FAQ will give you a better understanding of the real estate photography process and what you can expect from your investment.

What is your turnaround time?

We prioritize prompt delivery, with all photos, virtual tours and floor plans typically ready for delivery the next business day by end of day at the latest, and videos within 2 business days. Please note that weekends may impact delivery times and are subject to change based on the complexity and number of properties involved in the photoshoot.

What is the difference between standard iGuide and premium iGuide floor plans?

Our standard iGuide floor plans provide comprehensive layout information for a clear understanding of the property’s floor plan. On the other hand, our premium iGuide floor plans offer elevated detail with the inclusion of appliances, fixtures, and advanced measurements, allowing for an immersive experience with interactive VR functionality.

What is your photography style?

Our approach to real estate photography is purposeful and focused, carefully selecting each angle and shot to showcase properties in their best light. We utilize a wide angle 17-28mm lens to achieve a realistic representation without distorting the size of the rooms, avoiding the typical fish eye lens effect. Our photography methodology prioritizes avoiding redundancy and repetition in shots to keep the audience captivated and invested in the property. We understand that viewing similar, unchanging photos can quickly lead to boredom, which is why we put effort into presenting a dynamic and diverse representation of each space. By showcasing the unique features of each property and presenting them in a visually appealing manner, we aim to engage the audience and make a lasting impression. Our use of professional equipment, expertise in challenging lighting conditions, and eye for composition and detail, result in well-lit, eye-catching photos that accurately represent the property and highlight its most important aspects. We believe that every shot should have a purpose and work together to effectively market the property, creating high-quality, bright, crisp and clear images that showcase the unique aspects and highlights of each space.

How much do you charge for your services?

We offer a simple and easy-to-understand pricing structure for our real estate photography services, with flexible packages designed to meet the specific needs of each property. Our packages include a range of affordable add-ons, such as aerial photos, vertical social media video, virtual tour extensions to the sky and outdoor areas, and premium video tours, allowing clients to build a custom solution that fits their budget and enhances their marketing efforts. Our goal is to provide exceptional value to our clients, ensuring that their investment in professional photography is cost-effective, while delivering high-quality results that accurately represent their properties and generate interest from potential buyers.

Does the photographer help with staging and moving of furniture?

Photographers generally do not help move or stage furniture for a few reasons:

  1. Liability: Moving furniture and staging a space involves potential physical risks such as accidents and injuries. Photographers may not want to assume the liability for any damage that could occur during the process.
  2. Professionalism: Photography is a specialized skill and photographers typically focus on capturing the best shots possible. Moving and staging furniture falls outside of their area of expertise and may detract from the quality of their work.
  3. Time constraints: Photographers have limited time to complete their photoshoot and any additional tasks like moving furniture can significantly extend the duration of the shoot. This can lead to delays and negatively impact their productivity.
  4. Client preferences: Staging a space is a subjective process and the photographer may not have the same aesthetic vision as the client. Additionally, the client may have specific requests or requirements for staging that the photographer is not equipped to handle.

In addition to not moving or staging furniture, we also understand the importance of presenting the property in its best light. That’s why we take about 10-15 minutes to make small adjustments such as straightening towels, putting down toilet seats, opening blinds, etc. to create visually appealing images that accurately represent the property
